Solicitor Agreements

As retirement plan experts, we welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively with other trusted advisors to help clients succeed.

Based on your areas of expertise and business model, we can create a solicitor relationship that allows you to retain your valuable relationships while we perform fiduciary advisory services.

If you’re not familiar, a solicitor is any person who, directly or indirectly, solicits for or refers clients to, an Investment Advisory firm. Brokers, bankers, accountants, insurance agents, and attorneys often act as solicitors. When you choose to partner with ABG as a solicitor, we’ll build a partnership that works to enhance value for your clients.

Here’s a brief look at the expert services we offer:

As a 3(21) Advisor, we sign on as a co-fiduciary and assist in drafting the Investment Policy Statement, help with plan design, provide investment monitoring, recommend changes, and provide all required documentation.

When we perform as a 3(38) Advisor, we sign on as co-fiduciary, we draft the IPS, we build the fund menu, monitor the investment menu, make lineup changes, determine mapping strategies, and provide all required documentation. Core to this approach is our open architecture model that provides access to virtually the entire mutual fund universe. This flexibility helps us find and select the best funds for each client’s line-up.

As important as managing investments is, we also know that educating participants is important in helping create better long-term outcomes. Our expert team can customize a program that provides your clients’ employees access to some of the very best tools and resources to help them get the most out of their retirement savings path. This is key because when people are more successful budgeting and managing their spending and borrowing, they tend to be in a much better position to save for their future. And after all, that’s why we’re here.
