Lindy joined Alliance Benefit Group in 2001. Her background in operations and dedication to client satisfaction are key in her current role.
She currently oversees the operations, service, conversion, document and billing departments at ABG. Her focus is on creating efficiencies, implementing new initiatives and overseeing daily operations.
Lindy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University. She is a member of ASPPA and has earned the designations of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). She recently also completed her certification with the CFA Institute Investment Foundations® Program.
Additionally, after serving for many years on the ASPPA Government Affairs committee she has continued to stay active in the industry by serving on the board of the Relius Administration National Daily User Group (RANDUG) as the Events Coordinator.
Matt got his start in the retirement plan industry in 1992 and has held a variety of positions (group meeting presenter, benefit consultant, benefit consultant manager, recordkeeping department manager and conversion manager) over the years. The experience he gained in these different positions has enabled Matt to have a unique perspective on the plan conversion process.
Through the years, Matt is quick to point out that one thing has never changed -- "In everything we do, it’s still all about the client." Plan conversions are a great opportunity to help the client improve their plan and help their participants. While most plan conversions share common characteristics, no two are alike. Each takes on its own identity and comes with opportunities, challenges and growth.
Handling conversions for ABG is a very good fit for Matt. It’s a unique position that requires interaction with plan sponsors, advisors, ABG principals, compliance experts and operations staff. At one point or another, a conversion touches every department in the firm.
Matt is married with three grown kids. He enjoys volunteering with his wife at their church’s outreach/food pantry and singing in their church’s vocal ensemble. He's a lifelong Detroit Tiger fan and enjoys playing tennis with his "kids".
Matt joined ABG in 2007 and has been in the retirement plan services industry for over 15 years. He began his career as a Financial Advisor with Raymond James & Associates where he specialized in investment and retirement planning for high net worth individuals. As a Senior Consultant with ABG, Matt is responsible for providing guidance and education in all areas of investments, retirement and social security planning to Plan Participants and Sponsors. He also specializes in working with Advisors to provide coaching and assistance in all areas of Qualified and Non-Qualified Retirement Plans.
Mr. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oakland University, Rochester MI. He currently holds a FINRA Series 65 license as a qualified Investment Advisor Representative and in the past has held additional licensing including the Series 7, 63, Life, Accident & Health Licenses. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designation from Fi360, the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors, and is a credentialed member of the National Social Security Advisors (NSSA®).
The passion Matt has for the retirement services industry is largely from the ongoing changes and evolution of the business. With the work he does at ABG, he believes there is opportunity each day to improve retirement outcomes for American workers. Matt and his wife Kim live in Rochester Hills, MI with their three children. He enjoys coaching youth baseball and spending time outdoors with his family in his free time.
Rob joined Alliance Benefit Group in 2006 and has over 18 years of retirement plan and compliance experience. Rob’s background was previously in the CPA/Accounting industry, so the transition to the retirement plan world has been a very good fit for him.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Walsh College. He is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and has earned the designation of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). Rob has also earned the designation as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA), which is a classification of professional allowed to practice before the IRS and to represent clients in retirement plan matters.
Rob’s extensive knowledge and experience allows him to provide clients with a better understanding and review of their individual plan needs, which helps to provide the perfect retirement plan design for their specific organization. He feels that the best client experience is one in which he can help the client to understand how their plan works and how it fits their goals.
Outside of the office, Rob spends the majority of his time in an ice rink with his wife while enjoying watching their son play travel hockey.
Kelly Tisdall – Daily Operations Supervisor – Kelly joined Alliance Benefit Group in 2004 as an operations associate. She has worked in the 401(k) retirement industry for over 14 years with a concentration on the daily operations and processing side of the business.
Kelly is currently pursuing her Qualified 401(k) Administrator designation through the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
Client Relationship Manager
Maureen has over 20 years of experience in the 401(k)retirement industry. She began her career with the Principal Financial Group in Spokane, Washington in 1997. She joined Alliance Benefit Group in 2003 as a Client Relationship Manager when she relocated to Michigan. She moved back her home town of Spokane, WA in 2014 where she continues to work remotely for ABG. She keeps an early morning schedule, with eastern time zone work hours from the Inland Northwest. She makes annual trips back to the ABG office in Michigan.
Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Washington University. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and has earned a designation of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). Being able to assist plan sponsors provide a critical benefit to their plan participants so they may save for their retirement, is one reason she appreciates her continued work within this ever-changing industry.
In her leisure time, she enjoys DIY projects and gardening around the house along with reading and some traveling to visit her two grown children. She’s a dedicated Seattle Seahawks fan but still cheers on some her favorite Michigan teams.
Client Relationship Manager / Service Supervisor
Joyce came to Alliance Benefit Group as a Client Relationship Manager in 2006 after 25 years in the financial services industry. Much of her experience was gained with a large regional bank, which is now PNC Bank.
Joyce graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries, (ASPPA) from which she earned a Qualified 401(k) Administrator, (QKA) designation. Joyce also has a Series 65 license and earned a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor, (CPFA) designation from the National Association of Plan Advisors, (NAPA).
In her spare time, Joyce is a member of the Village Players of Birmingham. She has served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors and Editor of the monthly newsletter in addition to working backstage and appearing on stage.
Kirstyn joined Alliance Benefit Group as a Client Relationship Manager in 2018 with 11 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. Her background has been in client relations and compliance.
Kirstyn graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a major in Management. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries and has earned designations of Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA). Kirstyn has also earned the IRS designation of Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA).
Kirstyn enjoys helping clients navigate the rules and regulations of the retirement plan industry. Outside of work she loves spending time with her two daughters, swimming on the Masters team, yoga and traveling to find music and nature.
